We have been making careful preparations to begin safely reopening The Rock Boquete on September 28, 2020, as well as our boutique hotel, The Riverside Inn Boquete, on October 12, 2020. We are looking forward to welcoming you back as our guests and wanted to share with you some of the actions we are taking.
In addition to all safety procedures currently in place for our delivery and take-away services, when The Rock Boquete and the Riverside Inn reopen, we are implementing the following on top of our normal high-level of cleanliness and sanitation practices:
The Rock Boquete and The Riverside Inn
- Dedicated team members will be solely responsible for sanitizing all high contact areas
- Disinfecting floor mats will be available at all main entrances
- Posts with an automated thermometer and an alcoholic gel dispenser will be available at the entrance
- Additional hand sanitizers will be available in our restrooms
- Our current towel and soap dispensers have been replaced with automated dispensers
- Floor decals remind guests in our lobby to keep to social distancing protocols
- Seating in the dining room, patio and bar has been reconfigured to meet social distancing guidelines. All tables have been separated by at least 2 meters
- Reservations can be made through our websites, as well as by telephone and by WhatsApp
- Access to a digital menu on your mobile device will be available should you prefer not to use one of our sanitized menus
- Our team members will provide you with a small paper bag to store your mask while you enjoy your meal
- Payments can be made by bank transfers from the table using the Yappi app
- Optional table dividers or “sneeze” separator may be requested
- Wellness checks of all team members will be continued before each shift, including temperature checks
- All team members and managers are provided with personal protective equipment, including masks and gloves
- Staff handwashing is routinely reinforced
- Every night all public areas will be nebulized with a hospital grade disinfectant
- At the Riverside Inn all linen, including pillows, will be cleaned daily, and all rooms and mattresses will be nebulized and disinfected after the departure of every guest
These are just some of the changes we are making to protect your safety while at the same time providing the hospitality and delicious memorable food you have come to expect from us.
